Glenn Andreiev has been writing, producing and    
directing such feature films as THE DEED TO HELL,
 EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE, and SHARP AND SUDDEN since  
 1988.   He often witnessed actor/actress friends get
scammed on line.   It hit a major nerve when Andreiev       
 himself had his ID stolen in 2007.  This happened while
he was in Greece, shooting THE DEED TO HELL, so it          
 took him a short while to learn somebody was having
fun on the internet on his dime.   
   
    "It was great that law enforcement and my bank got
all my money back.   But that's like putting a Band-Aid
on a badly infected cut.   The wound is covered, but the
infection is still there.  I had to do something." remarks     
 Mr. Andreiev.  "That's why I made THE MAKE BELIEVERS,
a documentary on computer scams."

   "I learned a scary thing- many people believe anything
 they see on line.   Very few people do background
 checks.   Scammers thrive on computer users enjoying
 the sense that riches, love and medical cures are just
 one click away."

      Andreiev, in his film, and on his WEBSITE tested this
 out.   Even after he listed his GHOST SIGHTING VIDEO
  on Youtube as a fake, and said how he did it, the video
 got over 740,000 hits and "ghost hunting" sites
 reposted it as the real thing.  
      He went on Craigslist and Youtube as Mortel
 Legendre, a millionaire seeking to pay a woman to
 marry him.   The amount of serious responses was
 overwhelming.    Here is the FIRST VIDEO he posted
   (with 14,000+ HITS!) followed by a VIDEO of him
  (as himself) explaining the hoax two months later.

      "The internet allows you, for free to connect with
      over 1.7 Billion people around the world, in your
      own style, your own personality.     For the
      film-maker or acting talent, this has become the best
      tool since the invention of the movie camera.
      I hope my film opens people's eyes about
      computer usage."
